Turku hosted the first meeting of the EUSBSR Horizontal Action Neighbours' Coordination Group

The first Coordination Group meeting of the Horizontal Action (HA) Neighbours was held in Turku on June 5th 2014, back-to-back with the 5th Annual Forum of the European Union Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR).

Focus on Russia’s regional leadership

The Turku Process was presented to participants in the City of Turku’s stand. Furthermore, Mr. Mikko Lohikoski, Coordinator of the Turku Process, participated to workshop discussion on Russia’s regional leadership


Reviewed Action Plan published

Turku Process included in the Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region

The Turku Process has been included in the updated EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR) Action Plan as a Horizontal Action.



The Turku Process welcomes new ideas, proposals and partners that can contribute to the success of the initiative and promote its goal - practical joint actions for sustainable well-being in the Baltic Sea region.
